Understanding the Dashboard
The dashboard is your home base. This tutorial explains what each part does and where to find the tools you will use every day, so you stop hunting through menus.
What you will learn
- What the main dashboard shows
- Where each key tool lives in the menu
- How to read the home stats
- How to get back to a screen you were on
Before you start
- Sign in to your account
- Have your account set up from the Getting Started tutorial
Step-by-step
- 1
Read the home stats
The home screen shows four key numbers: new leads this month, calls booked, deals won and lead to customer rate. These give you a quick read on whether your system is capturing and converting. They update as your data changes.
- 2
Learn the main menu
The left menu groups tools by job. Home is your overview. Chats is your unified inbox. Calendar is booking. Contacts is your CRM. Pipeline is your sales board. Payments is invoices and links. Websites and Funnels is your page builder. Automations is your workflows. Marketing is campaigns. Reviews is reputation. Reports is analytics.
If you cannot find something, use the search bar at the top and press Ctrl K (or Cmd K on a Mac).
- 3
Understand the enquiry to customer panel
The From enquiry to customer panel shows how many leads move from enquiry to reply to booking to quote to customer. The drop-off between each stage tells you where leads are leaking. A big drop between enquiry and reply means your follow-up is too slow.
- 4
Check today's calls
The Today's calls panel shows your upcoming appointments with their status. Confirmed calls are ready. Reminder sent means the system has nudged the lead. This is where you start your day if you take sales calls.
Result
You know what the dashboard shows, where each tool lives, and how to read the home stats and panels. You can find what you need without searching.
Troubleshooting
My home stats show zero
Stats only count data from the current month. If you just started, there may be no data yet. Create a test contact and a test opportunity to see the numbers move.
Best practices
- Check the enquiry to customer panel weekly to spot leaks
- Use Ctrl K search instead of scrolling through menus
- Pin the tools you use most to your browser bookmarks
